Required skills & experience ● BS/MS degree in Information Technology or BS in Computer Sciences ● A minimum of 3 years prior experience in PHP development and MySQL server or AWS ● Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing web sites and web applications using PHP and MySQL. ● Demonstrated knowledge and experience with basic Linux administration skills. ● Demonstrated knowledge and experience with IT systems or technologies. ● Experience with incident management systems. ● Excellent knowledge of inter dependencies between information systems and infrastructure. ● Experience with Google Apps and Google Sites ● Experience with SugarCRM required (doesn't have to be recent) ● Experience with Laravel a plus ● DevOps Experience a plus ● Demonstrated verbal and written communication abilities ● Ability to work independent with excellent project management skills – follow up and follow thru with limited direction required What You Need to Know: ● 100% remote opportunity ● The IT Software Developer is responsible for developing applications for our internal and external clients in an agile environment. ● Develop applications using PHP, MySQL using a LAMP stack ● Work as part of a team to develop internal web applications. ● Ensure the proper operation of web applications ● Address operational systems issues ● Liaise with vendors, suppliers and professional services ● Provide status reporting and improvement recommendations ● Work on light Linux administration ● Database maintenance ● Online backup software ● Cloud computing
