Overview

Our client is seeking a full-time Physician to provide high-quality care practices in the treatment of symptoms and promoting the highest quality of life for homebound patients and their families in Bergen County, NJ. The ideal candidate will be licensed as a physician in New Jersey with education and experience in primary care settings, and have geriatric experience recommended. They should be board certified in family practice or internal medicine, and hold an active CDS and DEA license. The position offers medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, HSA/FSA, and PTO benefits. This position is also open for part-time (3 days/wk). Key Responsibilities ● Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers ● Provides direct medical services and consultation to primary care homebound patients within established productivity guidelines ● Monitors the patient’s condition and responsiveness to the treatment provided ● Maintains complete patient records using the Electronic Medical record and complies with all reporting mechanisms ● Ensures compliance with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services Ambulatory Care Regulations for Licensure as well as requirements of other licensing and accrediting bodies, health maintenance organizations and other insurance carriers ● Acts as an agency representative with patients and their families as well as with other health agencies, groups and organizations ● Collaborates in the provision of formal and informal education for staff ● Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies, and guidelines of regulatory agencies ● Participates in community outreach programs when appropriate ● Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position ● EMR: Home Care Home Base ● Equipment Provided: Tablet, Phone Schedule and Shift Details ● 8:30a-4:30p, 1 weekend per month ● Including working one summer and one winter holiday Benefits ● Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance ● 401k ● HSA/FSA ● PTO
