- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
Overview
Our client is seeking a full-time Medical Director for a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate degree and relevant experience working with the elderly population. This role involves providing medical direction, overseeing participant care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care delivery. Salary range: $231,000 - $280,000 depending upon experience Key Responsibilities ● Provides general medical direction and supervision of the medical aspects of participant care ● Responsible for the delivery of participant care, clinical outcomes, and oversight of the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program ● Provides direction and supervision to related Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and APPs ● Provides leadership and guidance to the program colleagues and providers in the local community ● Conducts history and physical on new participants and event-based and periodic reassessments ● Interviews and evaluates applicants to PACE Organization and their caregivers ● Educates participants and families regarding health maintenance and their chronic medical conditions ● Supervises the health care and treatment program as developed by the interdisciplinary team Schedule and Shift Details ● Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30p occasional travel within the region Travel ● Occasional travel within the region
