Overview
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill or injured client employees in healthcare clinics. You will be responsible for interviewing patients, obtaining and recording vital signs, assisting physicians, and performing various medical procedures. Your role will also involve maintaining equipment, collecting samples for testing, and ensuring a clean and organized clinic environment. Key Responsibilities ● Interview patients to determine medical problems and document in charts for physician ● Obtain and record patient's vital signs and weight ● Assist physician with patient examination as needed ● Review physician's orders, lab requests, or follow-up needs with patients ● Document services performed on appropriate forms ● Dress wounds as instructed, apply compresses, ice and heat packs ● Administer specified medication orally or by injection and note time and amount on patients' charts ● Assemble and use clinic equipment ● Collect samples for testing and perform routine laboratory tests ● Sterilize equipment and supplies ● Clean rooms, change linens, and maintain supplies Schedule and Shift Details ● Schedule options are: 1. Wednesday/Thursday hours 7:45am-6:15pm, Friday hours 6:45am-5:15pm and Saturday hours 8am-1pm, (off days Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) 2. Monday/Wednesday/Thursday hours 7:45am-6:15pm, Friday hours 6:45am-5:15pm, work one to two Saturdays per month those hours 8am-1pm (off days Tuesday and Sunday) 3. Saturdays 8am-1pm
