Required Skills and Experience: • 3+ years of Escrow Officer experience (need to have experience working in TX) • Experience with Purchase transactions • Knowledge of legal documents with ability to analyze and evaluate documents as they relate to closings • Software experience with Ramquest or Qualia strongly desired. • Experience with Softpro, Resware, LandTech, or similar software will also be considered. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Professional communication skills with clients • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. • Deadline-driven. • Resilient team player - we are a start up so ability to roll with the punches and adapt to change is key What you need to know: • The Escrow Officer will be responsible for processing escrow documents in accordance with established company policies and procedures and TDI regulations. • This team member will as a neutral third-party between buyers and sellers during all real estate transactions, managing funds and processing all related transaction details. • They will complete transactions by determining requirements; clearing titles; assembling, preparing, and reviewing all closing documents; disbursing related funds. • Their duties are complex in nature; so they must demonstrate familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry. • Experience in RamQuest preferred. • High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and focus on deadlines will determine your success in this role. • Most importantly, this person will provide an incredible customer experience by being informative, responsive, patient, and friendly in all interactions.
