Uber and Relode have come together for the first ever on demand job fair on Thursday, November 5th. This job fair allows candidates to apply for open positions at participating companies in Nashville, Tennessee—all while riding in the back of an Uber.

This Uber-Relode event is an opportunity for candidates to interview with some of Nashville’s most sought-after companies. Anyone who has the Uber app on their mobile device can request an interview using the promo code 'NASHJOBS.' Entering the promo code will unlock the 'JOBS' view within the app. Riders can toggle to this view to request an interview. If connected, recruiters will call to verify the rider's pickup location for mobile interview. Interviews will last 15 minutes and will begin and end at the same place.
Corporate recruiters from eight participating employers will interview candidates in the back seat of an Uber during a three hour window this Thursday between 11 AM and 2 PM. The recruiters will take resumes, conduct interviews, and screen candidates for openings with participating companies, which include Aspire Health, Asurion, Avenue Bank, Dave Ramsey, HealthStream, naviHealth, and SmileCareClub. Uber will also be interviewing candidates for various positions.

Recruiters will upload resumes, make comments on candidates, and share applicants with partnering companies—all in the back seat of a vehicle.
