For our healthcare and hiring series, I interviewed Jason Campbell, Talent Acquisition Manager at Mount Carmel Health System. During our interview, he spoke on the top challenges for healthcare recruitment today. One solution he mentioned was social media, Snapchat in particular. Listen to his argument for using Snapchat through the SoundCloud link above.

With regard to using new media like Snapchat—which my generation is akin to—I enjoyed Campbell’s attitude about new ways of engaging candidates on their terms.

I appreciate that he said it: “We can’t be so rigid to the past; we have to be flexible to the future.”

What success have you found using social media for recruitment?
