1. Tell Us About Yourself And Why You Joined Relode.
My name is Constance Hammond. I am married, and we have one adult daughter. We reside in the Peach State of Georgia.
I have a Master of Business Administration Degree with a minor in Human Resource Management, a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and an Associates Degree in Marketing from Strayer University.
A former colleague introduced me to Relode. I was excited about working for leaders that are followers of Jesus Christ.
2. How Do You Establish A Positive Rapport With Your Clients?
I look for ways to meet the needs of my clients. “Let no one seek his own but each the other’s wellbeing" (1 Corinthians 10:24). I am a problem solver for my clients. Clients hire me to help them solve problems. The more problems I help solve, the better.
I provide my clients with resources they need in order to be successful.
3. What's Your Secret To Finding The Right Candidates?
I become familiar with the job, knowledgeable about the organization, and gain motivation to do a great job recruiting qualified candidates. I accomplish this by listening to the needs of my clients.
The client relationship is part of the job. Thinking about and working on the relationship makes me more successful in the current project, enhance opportunity for future work, and make projects much more enjoyable, not only that I will get to know and learn from my client. Overall, developing a relationship provides great return on my investment.
4. What Sets You Apart As A Recruiter?
I follow the EEOC’s best recruiting practices (Employment Discrimination, Diversity, Harassment, Gender and Labor Issues). This helps me administer recruitment activities more consistently and legally by formalizing policies and practices during recruitment.
I value training and professional developement. Recruiter training and development helps ensure consistency in terms of what I screen for and the messages I communicate about job orders and hiring companies.
5. If You Could Make Up A Title For Yourself, What Would It Be?
My title would be ‘Connecting Talent To Opportunity.’ I love serving others.
All businesses want quality employees. To hire the right person for the job, you need to look past candidates' resumes and cover letters and learn more about them as people. Employees need to have the skills and experience required to do the job, but they also need to fit in with the company culture and be willing to take direction and handle challenges as they come. I accomplish this for my clients. I love 'Connecting Talent To Opportunity.' Allow me to do the same for you and your company.
